When Was the Last Time…?

When was the last time you took a picture of just you and your kids, at home? Was it during the winter holidays? Or was it before that? Do you even have a picture of just you with your kids? I mean, one where you're not dressed in a Halloween costume.

I was Reading Rainbow.

If you're like me, it's probably been a while since you got a photo of just you with your kids. Maybe you've been waiting for something. 5-10 pounds to magically fall away. Some other arbitrary goalpost that will inevitably move again as you get closer to it. Meanwhile, all the pictures you have of you with your kids right now are unshowered selfies.

Really highlighting my best side right now.

You don't necessarily want the whole shebang of family photos (nor do you want to convince your partner why you need them). You just would like some non-selfie photos of you and your kids, somewhere comfortable, unintimidating (as in, not a studio), and quick. Proof that you’re here, too.

Well, here's a chance to get into a low-stakes, no-partner-convincing photo with your kids. With Spring right around the corner, I'm putting together Spring Motherhood Porchraits (yep, that’s a pun). Make them as casual or dressy as you like, taken on your front porch (or backyard, if you prefer).

They'll be 10 minutes, in your comfort spot, with your favorite little people. And when we're done you'll have proof that you were here, with your children, and that you loved each other.

The hard part of doing it yourself is not being able to see what you're getting until after the moment is over.

If you're interested in getting more info as it comes available in April, hit the button below and I'll make sure you're included. These sessions are a great way to get a couple of photos of you with your kids, for a fraction of my normal session rate. I only hold Porchraits a couple of times a year, and because I'm coming to your house instead of holding a traditional mini session day out in the wild, I'll have a very limited number of slots. You can sign up for the 2024 Motherhood Porchrait waitlist here!
