Proof that you were here, too.
Motherhood Porchraits
When was the last time you were in a non-phone-selfie photo with your kids?
You don't necessarily want the whole shebang of family photos (nor do you want to convince your partner why you need them). You just want some non-selfie photos of you and your kids, somewhere comfortable and unintimidating (as in, not a studio or a random field).
Proof that you’re here, too.
That's what Motherhood Porchraits are.
10 minutes, on your front porch (or in the yard, if you prefer), with your favorite little people.
When we're done you'll have proof that you were here, with your children, and that you love each other.
The details:
What’s included:
10 minutes of photography, on your front porch or in your yard. Just you and your kid(s) playing while I snap your interactions together.
I’ll send you a private gallery within a week, and you can choose your favorite image to download and print wherever you like (I have suggestions).
You’ll have the opportunity to purchase additional images if you need more than one, and/or order prints straight from the gallery.
When it’s happening:
I have 10-minute morning sessions available on Saturday, May 11 (Mother’s Day weekend) and Saturday, May 18.
10-minute evening sessions are available Saturday, May 11, Wednesday, May 15, and Saturday, May 18.
You can choose your session time on the calendar at the bottom of this page.
How much it costs:
$125 for the session and the digital image. No other purchase is required!
Additional digitals can be purchased in the gallery, with discounts built in if you want more than a couple extra.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Who’s invited:
Motherhood Porchraits are meant to be a fun, easy, no-stress way for you to get in photos with your kids. If your partner has FOMO and is excited to join us, then great!
But this is not meant to be a substitute for a full family session, and if your partner would rather sit this one out, there's no judgment if they aren't with us.
Another fun idea is to include Grandma, if she’s in town, to get some multi-generational photos. But that’s not required. Whatever vibe you want is welcome.
What if the kids don’t behave:
The goal is to get fun, sweet photos of you with your kids. I won’t ask them to say cheese, and if they don’t sit still, we can let them lead us on a parade around the yard until they’re comfortable with the camera.
If it’s a complete disaster or we run out of time, I’ll work with you to create a solution that works and makes everyone happy. But usually when we let the kids lead, they’re pretty happy to be there.
What to wear:
Whatever you're already wearing on the day is totally fine. We're more focused on the connection between you and your babies than what you're wearing. If you're stuck in indecision mode though, I'll send you a Pinterest board with some inspiration when you sign your contract.
