A Limited Offer: Fridays in July
What are your favorite memories of summer as a kid?
The freedom? The permission to run around in swimsuits all day? The water bills from running the sprinkler so much (maybe not that one)? Being handed a popsicle at 9:30 in the morning and being told to go outside to eat it?
Now as an adult, you really want to take the time to slow down, as summer invites you to. But somehow summer is the busiest time of year (until fall becomes the busiest time of year, of course). You have * responsibilities. * And a * job. * And * kids. * And a weirdo schedule because of various summer camps, and childcare being closed on random days because of vacations. There’s very little actual relaxing happening.
I want to change that for you, without creating a whole lot of stress about it.
I have an idea, to merge my two favorite things (Fridays and the best month of summer) and create a shorter session meant to help you celebrate summer for 30 minutes at a time.
Fridays in July invites you to take some time to relax with your family, within an “I don’t have all day to relax” time frame.
These are 30 minute photo sessions at home. Simple, no-nonsense, lets-celebrate-shorts-and-tank-tops-season sessions.
Only on Fridays, in July. Set up a sprinkler and let the kids run around in swimsuits. Pull out popsicles and lemonade and watermelon and let the stickiness commence. (Maybe reverse that order and do both.)
Or soak up the climate control and let’s play inside for 30 minutes. Celebrate a baby milestone, a birthday (or half-birthday), have me come over while the grandparents are in town and get some photos of everyone together. (One of my favorite parts of summer as a kid was the two weeks my grandparents would visit every year.)
Whatever your favorite part of summer, let’s take half an hour to celebrate it together, and document the best parts for the next generation of summer lovers.
